Great win for the Jeeps! Austin Loop was on fire early and we played a great first half.

3rd quarter was all Leesburg as they put together a great 4 minutes at the end of the qtr to take the lead.

Turning point was at 50-49 with 2:30 to go and Webster trailing-----Webster outscored the Lions 11-2 to finish. Connor Scott hit some big foul shots in the last few minutes and ended with 19.

South Webster did a good job on Chris Cox----Rolark led the Lions in scoring tonight and really played well. Very athletic and took the ball to the hole better than expected---we knew he could shoot!

In doubt until the last minute----great atmosphere in the Convo, especially for 10:30 start!

As Swanker pointed out the Cox technical was the difference maker. You can't get a "T" with 2:01 left in the 4th Q of a 1 point game with the District Championship on the line. The Lions made a nice comeback in the 3rd quarter to take the lead but their lack of discipline (turnovers, technichal foul) down the stretch was the difference.

The coaching staff at South Webster did a terrific job. Fairfield always plays zone and the Jeeps were rady to attack it from the start. Cox also was defended very well and atken out of the game.

Well said overthetop, as a non-partisan fan watching I told the guys I was with at the start of the 4th Q after Fairfield played a great 3rd that SW would win because they were more disciplined and better coached and sure enough it held serve. When talent is relatively similar, coaching and preparation make a big difference.

SW was a very disciplined team. Would you still have posted what you did if Fairfield would have not gotten a T and lost all the momentium and won the game? We all make predictions, and when they are right we look good.

Haha good callout, I'll be honest and say no I would not have.

Hopefully the Cox kid will learn from this and go on to be a better whatever in life but he has to realize the mistake he made. It was the first time I watched Cox play so I have a slighted view but you could see his attitude/body language be a potential problem throughout the game. Obviously, I think the ref noticed it as well and it boiled over with the "T."
