I didn't post the whole game, hoping I wouldn't jinx them. Good game Hounds and you did the best you could. That's the way to fight but sometimes you just can't overcome the r_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ word. Congratulations for a great year.

Just crap in the sense they played well, missed too many free throws, turnovers, but they hung around.

You knew Prep would go on a big run and how Manchester responded would determine who won the game. I really thought that with a 9 point lead going into 4th that Prep would likely pull away and win by that 15-20 point margin that was tossed around by a few of us. Hounds make that big time run in the 4th, just so darn frustrating.

Hit that three at the end of regulation, hand chances in overtime and just couldn't quite take advantage.

Congratulations on great season Greyhounds. Great effort by the players. Sounded like a less than stellar effort by the officials.

i am not a ref advocate but according to camel missed free throws were a major factor and i doubt that the refs missed any of them. by the way do you have any idea who the refs were and where they are from?

Maybe not Sparky but according to the radio they missed a HP player step out of bounds twice in the OT when Manchester was down by 1.

By all accounts refs were fair, only one time when listening to C103 did they really complain and that was in OT and a Prep player stepped on the sideline and then the end line and the refs didn't see it or call it. That player ended up going to the line, hitting two free throws to give them a 3 point lead.

Now, they said early on they were way, away from the court when calling the game. So anyone who was at the game can post on here when they get home and tell us. No complaints from C103 in regards to the refs. TWO Prep players, including leading scorer in the game fouled out.

It does sound a lot like the Western Pike game in the regional finals 4 years ago.

Tremendous season by Manchester and a great representation to the SHL and the SE district.

Perhaps I should have refrained from commenting on the officiating just based on what I heard. My apologies. Great effort by Manchester and again congratulations on a great tournament run.

An outstanding game as far as emotion, passion, heart, hustle, clutch shots: everything you'd want a Regional Final to be. The kids from Manchester were gased at the end, I always hear fans say "it'll come down to who wants it the most." Let me tell you, the MHS kids wanted it!! Their effort was incredible. Sure the Hounds free throw shooting could have been a little better as well as cut down on the turnovers but Harvest Prep can say a lot of the same things.

I thought Coach Lockhart had an excellent game plan of packing in a zone D and forcing the Warriors to beat them from the outside. He also came out of the zone at the right time which sparked the run to put MHS back in it. Credit Harvest Prep, their kids executed well, especially in overtime with their best player, Dunning, out of the game due to fouls. I doubt Travis Combs has been guarded like that all year. Blake Blevins was tremendous in the 2nd half igniting the Greyhound faithful and his teammates by swatting numerous Warrior field goal attempts.

I hate to see the Greyhounds fall but you can't be upset when you gave a performance like they did tonight.
