Wins are not the most important thing at this time. Returning some disipline and pride in wearing the Warrior uniform is what is needed. Although the talent level may not be what many are used to at Adena right now you can still be competitive if you give the kids all the opportunities they need to be successful. Hopefully this spring and summer will be full of open gyms, team camps and shootouts. It seems as if those things have not been much of a priority the last few years. I wish Jason well and hope that he is given a chance to be successful. I believe he will bring a much needed shot of enthusiasm and energy to the program. Hopefully he will start with the young kids in the elementary school and work on building a program from the bottom up. Given time I think in the not too distant future you will see the Warriors return to the glory days of the not so long ago.

Congrats to Jason Smith! A outstanding young man, that will work tirelessly to get the program moving in the right direction. I certainly wish him great success, other than playing the "Streaks" :122245

Glory days of Adena basketball ? Lol . Maybe you can refresh my memory . They have made it to the regional tournament just twice since they became Adena in 1967.

That is true. I was referring to the not so distant past of mid 2000's when they were competing year in and year out for conference titles and at least making trips to the Convo for the Districts.
