The greatone,
Don't know what closed sessions means if you only care about yourself and don't care about kids in your district. The parents want what is best for their children and someone that can communicate that is not bias. You must be in the "know" group and a little late to take my kid home. LOL
Satelite wrote:Bistro, are there any applicants for the basketball job? I have not heard of anyone wanting the job. They advertised the opening in the local newspapers and such for a couple months, yet still did not get any bites of significance to my knowledge. How are the powers to be responsible for not hiring from a list of empty applicants?
Satelite,
Good point and respected, must be bad info on my part but what is local papers going to get ya. The good assistent coaches in the area such as Alex (ex.) know what a coach has coming up and how much the previous coach has worked with the youth system in the district if you know what I mean.

Step up to the plate and apply yourself. It is hard to find somebody when no teaching jobs are available.
OK beecee,
If the school district had jobs available that they could offer to someone interested in any coaching position that is qualified within the district instead of hiring retirees back maybe they could find a coach that is willing to help the kids in the district instead of looking out for themselves to supplement their retirement. You have to admit alot of this is going on starting at the top who hires the personel if you know what I mean.

Appologize to all that may have been offended who read my previous posts before I edited them that was out of line (maybe ??). I did accomplish what was intended. Responses and at least from what I've heard they have hired a couple of respected men with experience to coach the Jr high football team.
