(#4) Lucasville Valley vs. (#1) Nelsonville-York 3/5 6:45pm
Indians and Buckeyes matching up at the convo...dont know too much about NY, but Valley is very talented and plays great defense.
Valley's losses:
Zane Trace 77-75 (2OT) Indians played 1 week after Regional title game in football
Ironton 53-50
Wavery 65-64
South Webster 63-53 Indians were lethargic and went through the motions so to speak as the SOC was wrapped up and seedings were over (make up SOC 2 game)
Should be a good game! GO Indians

Have to go With LV in this one due to their strength of schedule. Don't really think NY should have been a 1 seed.

Something needs to be done about the unbalance, obvious unbalance in these sectionals, I do not know what the answer is, maybe a super sectional with all the teams records combined for multiple seedings.. but something has to happen. Valley by 20.

Simple solution ... RE-SEED the teams at the distirct level!!!!
It would be sooooooooo easy ... Coaches get togehter the Sunday before the district tourney starts - they sit down in one of the meeting rooms at the Convo - they vote 1-through-12 (for DIII) ... and there ya have it.

Great idea. It will never happen, because the district/state would have to admit there is something wrong with the plan they are using now.Simple solution ... RE-SEED the teams at the distirct level!!!!

March 5!? Does it usually take that long to play the district game after sectionals?

Super Sectionals Seed teams 1-33 then let teams decide opp based on matchup and location.

Valley is favored, but NY can have a night here and there where they play extremely well. It is nice to see the group of seniors make it back again.
