1. Eastern
2. Notre Dame
3. East
4. Symess Valley
Not really sure about the rest of the teams and how they will pan out but those are my top four

Eastern will be there with Lands. Doesn't Notre Dame graduate a bunch of seniors this year?

Notre Dame will be very good I think. IMO it should be them and Eastern at the top.

East should be a contender for the SOC this year.

I agree with others as to who the top 4 teams should be but will not pick a front runner until I see a few of them over the summer. I thought Notre Dame lost more than 2 but if not then they will be a major factor. I look for the Eagles to compete for another title. With Crager and Bias, East will be very strong and REALLY tough at home. Symmes Valley probably "underachieved" this season and will be looking to make some noise. How did these teams JV teams perform? I only saw part of the Eagles JV games a couple times but don't remember seeing anyone other than Thacker kid that would be ready to help the varsity?

Good luck to all teams...but especially the "Elite 8" Eagles!

Brandon Murphy, will help and really I think will have a shot at starting. I think Trace Creech has a shot at some varsity min. The Fultz kid has a shot a varsity min I think as well. Symmes is looking at a coaching change which will effect them early I think . And I think that Green and Clay are going to be lots better they had lots of young kids get good varsity min. Western will be very young but return 3 starter 2 are sophmores 1 senior so I think as the year goes on they will improve. Notre Dame on paper has to be the preseason favorite only looseing 2 starters from last years co league champ team with Eastern looseing 3 starters and there 6th man 5 total seniors. But have POY Lands and a double , double machine in Pickett returning with Thacker and Murphy comeing up from JV and Lightle and Fultz getting into the mix . I think the league will be much more competative this year not that haveing 4 teams win sectional titles is anything to laugh at and the co league champ make it to the Elite 8 . Going to be some good ball in our league this year can't wait !!

Notre Dame after finishing 19-3, lost two starting seniors in Pierron and Noel. They return starters JP Kayser, Kevin Lewis, and Michael Mader.
The Notre Dame JV team went UNDEFEATED this past season with a record of 19-0. They only had a handful of single-digit wins. The JV team was all freshman and sophomores, all the juniors were on varsity.
Should be another fantastic season for Notre Dame if the boys put in the work over the summer.
Also as a note, Notre Dame will be getting a completely new floor for next season. The floor now is the original from when the school was built in 1952.

Eastern will be the team to beat this year I think . They are very deep and return the best player in the league Chad "BAD" Lands.

Symmes Valley will be a better and improved team from last year. They lost one senior and he didnt play much last year due to his knee. The JV was average with some talent and we move up an 8th grade team that went undefeated.
SV also gets to play a transfer that sat out all year last year and he too will help this sv team.
Plus they have a new coach .....put all this together and the sv vikings just might suprise a lot of people!!

I think that any game with Symmes,Notre Dame, and Eastern any combination of those 3 should be a very fun game to watch.

Western looking good in open gym, but still young. Shanks, and Brewster getting a lot of starts on Varsity last year will be big. Really going to depend on the rest of the Freshmen to be Sophmores can mature in the next couple of months. Fite has grown a lot more confident, needs to work hard on post moves, and get stronger. Hunter East shooting the ball well, and should be a good defender. Larry has some big games scheduled this Saturday. We'll find out what the look like on the floor together. This team really needs to come together, get stronger, and mature in the next couple months to really compete this fall.

New Boston will have a good team this year .They lost 2 players to graduation, but the the rest of the team competed pretty good last year when the two seniors were in foul trouble. i think they will surprise some teams this year.NB's point guard is still there ,and was one of the best i saw last year out of all the d4 teams in the soc.Eastern hands down is the best,ND ,then east ,and NB are pretty close but NB has the most talent ,but east has the big man.its up for grabs between these 2 teams.

I saw Clay and Western this summer as well as Symmes Valley and Notre Dame I was impressed with all of them saw Clay play Western at waverly and Western played Eastern, Eastern played Notre Dame 2 times and Symmes Valley 2 times. Haven't seen New Boston, Green or East any this summer. From what I saw the league as a whole is better than its been in a few years.
