meigs vs. athens
Re: meigs vs. athens
Meigs has been a surprise so far. However, Athens should down the Marauders this time around.
Re: meigs vs. athens
I think Meigs will have to slow it down and make every possesion really count and make it a physical game inside no easy baskets. Good luck to both teams .

If Meigs can control the tempo, they stand a good chance at winning this contest. Athens still aint 100%. But I still think the Bulldogs will tough out the pain and come away with a close win.

Athens really struggles at Meigs for some reason - its been that way forever it seems.
As far as slowing the tempo - I'm not sure that's the best way to go about beating Athens ... they have been quite content thus far scoring in the low 60's and holding their opponent under 50.

Meigs is a hard place to pick up a win. I think Athens is definitely the favorite, but I said the same thing last year and I believe they squeaked out a 1 point win..? With Athens already losing a league game at home, it puts that much more pressure on winning road games against teams they "should" beat. Good luck to both.. and watch out for that goat.

Re: meigs vs. athens
I just got an e-mail saying the REEDSVILLE EASTERN vs CROWN CITY SOUTH GALLIA game is still on ...
How in the heck can these two schools, buried in the hills of southeastern Ohio, be playing a game ... and Athens vs Meigs, seperated only by a major highway, not be?
