I think it may be possible to see these teams go at it again come tourney time. 2 evenly matched (very good) teams. DIII will be interesting again this year.

Re: Piketon @ Valley 12/11
This game felt like a district semi final kind of game. The refs let them play, both teams were extremely athletic and physical. Valley would surge and get up by as much as 10, but Piketon kept hanging around. Colten Williams with 21 points. Dont know his name, but 32 for Valley never left the paint to guard J Farmer, but when Piketon went small, he was matched up with Colten, who used his quickness off the dribble opening up the lane. Valley beat Piketons pressure pretty much the entire game, until the middle of the 4th quarter when Piketon finally got the lead and held it. It was an exciting game, and neither team quit playing. Valley is loaded with athletes and ran people in and out all night, good luck to them. And good game Piketon, Lets Go Streaks~!

Boy did I miss this one you were right my 50's prediction was way,way off eating crow here. But sounds like it was a very good game . Congrats to my buddy Colton Williams on a good game a lot of ppl overlook him when they talk about Piketon but he's a nice player with a great motor and awsome deffender.
Re: Piketon @ Valley 12/11
Coming into the season, I said If Valley can get out of the first six games 3-3, I'd be happy. I think they will come out 4-2 which I will be very happy with. Playing Minford and Piketon back to back....most teams will come out of that 1-1. Valley had a REAL shot at getting out of it 2-0...but a 13-2 run LATE in the game was the difference. The Indians are going to be a dangerous team once they are full steam ahead and around tourney time.

The Greek missed this one, but listened on the radio. It sounded like a heavyweight boxing match with both teams swinging for the final knockout and in the end it was Piketon that got the last punch. Sounded like the Redstreaks shot the ball a lot better than the first two games, but according to Coach L's comments on the post game show, they failed to play defense like the first two games. Good road win for the Redstreaks as I believe both teams will improve after getting the football out. Keep up the good work boys!
