Fed Hock @ Belpre 12/11

Post by eaglefan1 »

Belpre's first home game of the season after 2 straight on the road. Hopefully the Eagles Nest is rockin' in this one and the Eagles can advance to 2-0 in conference play. I think Thornhill will have the kids ready to play, I look for big games from Nick Therriault and Ryan Leasure and Belpre with a victory! GO EAGLES!

Have not got to see Fed. play yet this year, but have heard great things about them. Belpre looked "ok" against the Tomcats but got off to a very slow start. Fortunately for Belpre so did Trimble. I think this will be a close game and Belpre will survive to win.

Turn at the fire station and take the first right past the medical offices. The gym is on the far end of the high school on the right.

Good call Transplant,Belpre 64 Fed Hock 61 in overtime. might be costly though, big man Ryan Leasure went down with a bad knee injury right before halftime.Belpre had to come back from 10 points down to force overtime.Eagles now 2-0 in TVC.

Talked to Ryan's dad and he said they are hoping he should be okay. Might be out for Friday, but he is hoping he could get back out there next week. Ryan wouldn't let his parents take him to the hospital, told them he had to stay and watch his teammates. Ryan is such a good kid and I hope he's okay and back on the court soon. As for the game, what a game for the first home game of the season. Nick Therriault hit a big time shot with 5 seconds left to tie the game, and Fed Hock didn't even get a shot off. Belpre went up early in OT but Fed Hock came back. Austin Forshey stepped up big time for Belpre, and he hit 2 free throws with 4 seconds left in OT to put Belpre up 3. I'll tell you this, Dakota Hoffman will make a push for TVC POY, easily the most important player on this team. All around good game by both teams. High school basketball at its best!
