I think this one comes down to Williams for Fairfield and Taggart for Whiteoak. Siep will also be in the mix for Whiteoak. I think this will be less than a 4 point game with Whiteoak on top.

Remember this game is at Leesburg, they have some of the best refs for giving the home team the edge, not to mention their gym is a tough place to play. I think its close but Lions better the Cats by 5.

what makes their gym any tougher to play in than other gyms?

I'm going against the grain on this one apparently. I'll take Fairfield in a close one.

Fairfield is actually a good shooters gym. I think if Whiteoak can limit Williams. That being said slowing Williams down is no easy task, but the same can be said of Doc Seip.

I'm going to go with the Cats of Whiteoak tonight pulling out a win and taking an outright lead in the small division.

......................and that my friends, is the UGLYTRUTH!

williams seems to hold himself down by getting into foul trouble.

whiteoak is and will continue to be outmatched for the next 5-6 years. Someone needs to find a solution

I think they have been pretty successful the past couple years. They usually play a tough schedule and do fairly well in the tourney.

It starts in 3rd grade.

The senior class has some good talent and then you have to go down to the 7th grade to get more than 2 players that have been pretty successful at a younger age. The kids in 5th and 6th grades certainly have some potential. The good thing about D4....if you have a good group mixed with 1 good player from 2 other grades, you can do pretty well.

it is hard to predict the future. move ins and move outs plus player development with good fundamental coaching can succeed. maybe not champions but over 500 when talent is lacking is an accomplishment.
