Re: Valley @ Unioto
Unioto's #3 big being out is killing them big time, especially with Hosley in foul trouble.
Rolfe hits a huge 3 to end the 3rd. Valley leads 51-46.

Re: Valley @ Unioto
Minney. His energy off the bench is huge. But Valley wins the game regardless. They did a great job against Unioto's backcourt in the 4th to pull out the win.Yogie22 wrote:Who is out for Unioto?
2 good teams, Rolfe is going to be special for the Indians.
Chase Detillion played outstanding for the Shermans tonight as well. Had his way inside and I thought played very good post defense on Dunn. That was a very good interior matchup.

Not sure on the exact scoring, but Dunn, Flowers, Rolfe, and West all scored over 15 for the Indians. Detillion had 24 and 11 and Nick Corcoran had 17 for the Shermans. Freshman Erique Hosley played well despite foul trouble as well.pfloyd wrote:... crab_apple4 ... thanks for the score !

Re: Valley @ Unioto
Good win for Valley.
Thoughts, Valley is very solid defensively and patient on offense. They work well to get the easy bucket. They are deep off the bench and can run 7 or 8 at you without losing much if any. Valley seems to lack a true post presence and do not rebound well or attack the glass. Gave up a ton of offensive rebounds tonight and had no answer for Detillion underneath.
Unioto does not have very good ball handlers other than #2. They need to figure out a press break as well. They are very physical though and attack the glass on rebounds. Detillion is a load underneath.
Close game until about mid way through the 4th. Not sure what Unioto was trying to do with Valley's press?

Re: Valley @ Unioto
Are you sure Dunn had 15??? If he did I am not sure where it came from because he quiet most of the night. Rolfe may have been close to that.

West 18
Flowers 16
Dunn 16
Rolfe 15
Shope 5
Holbrook 3
Howard 2
Re: Valley @ Unioto
I guess so. I figured the other 3 were around 15. Dunn just seemed quiet and non existent at times.
