Re: New Lexington (5-8) vs Fort Frye (6-5) 1/20
New Lex is hot right now....winners of 4 of their past 5 ball games. They got a few kids back from early season suspensions. This team is physically strong and athletic. They start 6'2 sophomore Tommy Russell in the post along with 6'2 senior Ethan Kunkler, who is their best player and more of a three man. Terrific defender. They also start Nick Saxton an athletic and strong 6'0 junior along with 5'11 sophomore point guard Colin Russell who is streaky but can put some points on the board and is very athletic as well. They use three other players in the fifth spot with 6'0 junior Nate Saxton (twin brother) who is a really strong athlete, along with 6'1 senior Alex Bryant who is also really strong and athletic, and 6'2 senior three point specialist Dakota Jones. The last three times out they have beaten a solid Crooksville team 63-50 on the road, a solid John Glenn team 49-44 on the road, and a really nice Tri-Valley team last night 52-45 also on the road. Dangerous game for Fort Frye. The Cadets obviously have the advantage, in my opinion, at the point guard spot but they will not match up physically or athletically with this team.

It will be a good game FF did very well vs John Glenn.FF needs to bring it like they did vs South who is much bigger and physical then New Lex. The Xfactors are Legrean and Lang.Legrean can score around the rim, He has a nice first step on the drive and he can make the 3.Lang is a beast defender that can guard 5 spots and had stepped up scoring lately this is a 630 tip Sunday.

I here Smith is sick with the flu that's going around. Chandler and Seth must come to play to compete against New Lex!

Great game for the Cadets. Listened to the game on the radio, it's nice to hear that all the boys are really coming together and playing like a team. Smith as usual played well in the big game. Chandler with out a doubt is the best defensive ball player in the area. The radio said we play River Tuesday, I thought they had the Zeps?

They play Doah tues, MC Wed, and River Friday all at home. New Lex though they've been Hott beating John Glenn, and Tri Valley lately was a good matchup for the Cadets.I really think the Panthers would be an average PVC team.Scoring- Smith 23, Legrean 15, Lang 8 , Anderson 7 , Kiefer 2 . New Lex 38 Fort Frye 55 Fort Frye 7-5 (4-3)
