Gallipolis Gallia Academy will travel to Vincent Warren Local
Friday and Bidwell River Valley Saturday for a pair of triple-headers. Thoughts.

River Valley does not have a Freshman team only JV & Varsity. Look for a highly intense game on Saturday! I say RV will take this one!

Warren will beat GA by at least 30 and Gallipolis will beat RV by at least 25.

During the past few years, Gallipolis leads River Valley in games won with 30. The Raiders have won nine.

Warren by 30 in this one. Do not think it will be as competitive as the first game. Not sure what river valley has, but Gallia has a quick team and can really pressure you all over the court. Should be a good game vs RV.

1992-1993 at The University of Rio Grande and The Raiders were victorious in one of the most emotional games I've EVER seen.... And you were on the floor hothead :12223

Actually the Warriors are 5-0 at home. The lone loss to Cols Upper Arlington was on a nutrel court @ Marietta College's Ban Johnson Fieldhouse.

Southeastern beat rv on jan 12. Don't quote me on this but I think it was 68-44.

After going back through old posts, that southeastern score is correct.

Also southern beat rv 62-58 and your rv-belpre score is correct.

2 big games for our bluee devils. see how we rebound after a very fast and physical point team.

gallia at warren will be physical and tough palce to play. bailey clagg and jarrell inside will have to be a force.

key is going to have to score vs a tenacious warren defense

Not for sure how far it is from Warren to Marietta...but im pretty sure it is closer than Columbus.....actually I'm going on the record and saying it is a hell of a lot closer than Columbus....and going to count the victory for them as a road victory....and Im pretty sure Warren's players were at home asleep by the time Columbus was pulling out of Wendy's......so it's kinda like a home loss.....

So Warrior Blue just suck it up and take it as a home loss and get off Jottings back.....he provides one of the most thorough and up to date information on his team and everyone else's.....so he right on this one and you are wrong

I'm not on anyone's back. WTH does Columbus gotta do with anything?

I should have said it slower.....Upper Arlington is in or around the Columbus area.....and Playing in Marietta is like a home game for Warren Local.....

Just debating with ya.....I disagree with you on the fact that WL is 5-1 at home this year.....I'm with Jottings on this one....I hope I didn't offend you Chief......just discussing the thoughts and comment of others....

You have to remember I'm an RV fan and our threads usually consist of me and ......well me.....so excuse me for striking a chord with my proverbial "get off Jottings back" comment......

Playing at MC is close to home but it isn't a home game. Using your analogy playing at Belpre or Waterford is a home game too. Teams playing at home just don't gain an advantage by the crowd but also the familiar surroundings. Shooting at a rim that you shoot at everyday and the close confines of the home gym is what gives the "home court advantage". Actually a big school like Cols Upper Arlington should have an advantage because they regularly play in large venues.

22 point win for Warren (61-39). Really was never that close. Warren leading scorer sat out the whole second half with some type of injury.

on a side note, not sure who the fan was on Gallia side but he sure made a hind end out of himself on both JV and varsity game. Embarrassment to the great gallia faithful that follow the teams. I know the refs miss a call now and then, but to scream and yell like this guy did is over the line.
