Wow !!! Great game.
Was 50-49 Piketon's first lead of the game?
Thanks for the updates.

Thanks. Great comeback by your boys.Redstreakin wrote:Piketon lead 6-4 and the 50-49 was the first lead since.
Sounds like both teams played their hearts out but it sounds like LV is gaining a reputation for folding and blowing decent leads come tournament time. Too bad.
Re: Piketon vs. Valley
Congrats to the Piketon Redstreaks. Tough game next week with the Crooksville Ceramics. Good season Valley. The Indians return a bunch and look to be successful next season.
Re: Piketon vs. Valley
First off congrats to Piketon.
wink....Valley is a pretty young team and sitting on a lead has been an achilles heel of you will. They will be very good again next season as they lose 1 starter.
They did the same thing against Piketon early in the season....nice lead then turnovers and missed layups and piketon did what good teams do....take advantage.
Valley should be a favorite for a 3 peat SOC title and a nice tourney run.
Good Season Indians and good luck Streaks.

Re: Piketon vs. Valley
What a game! Play of the game was the terrible charge called on Dunn for his 5th foul. Should have been an And 1 for Valley, instead Piketon goes down and huts a big shot. Valley's you guys crumbled under the veteran Redstreak pressure. Great game to watch, but probably the worst officiated game I watched today. The nom call on Rolfe at the end was bad too. But I expect the Redstreaks to beat Crooksville and eventually play Ironton.

Re: Piketon vs. Valley
I don't know how that was the worse call.. Moore setup camp when the big boy charged him!

Re: Piketon vs. Valley
No way. He was under the rim and there was minimal if any contact. On a give and go there is no way the guy gets set up. Don't get me wrong Piketon forced the issue and made Valley's young guys make mistakes, but that was a very very bad call that turned the game. Piketon deserved the win, the refs didn't win it for them but the game was butchered. I have no dog in this fight, but the guys besides Throckmorton were a joke. I'm a former official, and have worked with the older official. He really has no business calling that game. He loves making that kind of call. I always hated working with him. Your streaks have a chance to move on, good team and darn good coach. Best of luck!
