BOY!!! Never would have guessed this Eastern team would have gotten beat. They most definatley underachieved this season. They should have at least been in the Regional Tourn. It will be a long time before Eastern sees the CONVO now. I bet the Rowe kid who transfered is excited about his decision to leave now. He will have a much better chance of getting back to the convo in the next three years than the Eastern ball club. Very disappointing in my opinion.

Eastern Pike should've been playing the 8th best team....but with the ridiculous current set up they played the 3rd or 4th best team. Seems pretty silly to criticize this EP team....last year they had cupcakes all the way through and then knocked off Manchester who had the tougher road.

And someone transferring to have a better chance of going to the Convo? Ridiculous. Just play at your home school. It's basketball....if you're that good you'll be on the court plenty, get ample recognition for the potential at the next level and get your team to the Convo.

Didn't the transfer's team get ousted a round or two early as well?

Even if they won, they'd had to get through Webster to get to Regionals...unfair no matter how you slice it. Congrats to Fairfield, and also to the Beaver Eastern seniors...great careers that should not have ended this early.*

If EP could have had another player that was a threat things could have been different. Lightle isn't a great ballhandler and the #30 was a little out of control. Lands can't do everything and the Pickett kid did more yapping than playing tonight. EP was 1 player away from having something special this season. Good season though EP, they have some talent coming back up. They'll be back at the Convo no doubt! The one boy for Fairfield was a stud though! Big time performance

. Last year when Southern from the TVC was the number 1 seed and got hosed while Beaver the number2 seed had the easy road no one was crying for a super sectional. You can't have your cake and eat it too. What could would a super sectional do? They still have ND a 1 seed.

Quinten Williams showed last night that he got hosed in the All District voting! 2nd Team? POY would be a more fitting title! Congrats Fairfield and way to battle back Eastern, they showed how good of a team they were by bouncing back from a dismal first half of shooting. Let's go Lions!
