I'd say it's an upset

Went over to Caldwell tonight and saw MC put the stomp on the Redskins 73-61.
14 made foul shots in the 4th quarter to seal the win.
Weichman picked up his 4th foul with just under 7 mins to go, and Coach just left him in. He was gone just under the three minute mark.
Poor coaching decision imho... Weichman and Clark led Caldwell scoring.
Monroe Central scoring was well balanced between #22(Nixon, or is it mixon), Burkhart, Duffey, and Kuhn. Jorris was a non factor with two points.

Can't wait for the matchup between FF and MC.

That would be Nixon, rickoshay, he's part of the Nixon/Lafollette clan from Monroe County. I would hope that may ring a bell for you.

Watched Trail play tonight and they look out of sync. Beat Barnesville 54-40. Tyler Starr shot well and Toland had his usual game but he looks like he can't last all season. Seems hurt.

I'd have to say after seeing Barnesville at the preview, that is a shocking score.

Trail did not play well at all. Poor shooting and no flow to offense. Barnesville is not very good. T. Starr shot fair & L. Starr is just 10 months post ACL surgery. A limited Toland still had 13 points & 18 boards. Will be dealing with a bad knee all year. Will need to play a lot better w/ Cambridge, Fort Frye, & Caldwell all away coming up.

Wasn't able to make it to the Caldwell/Central game, but from what I was told and read, Caldwell just didn't get it done from the field. Had the edge in the turnover and rebounding battles, but were cold from behind the arc, and missed several layups and free throws. Hoping they can get the shooting woes corrected soon.

Trail loses 68-50. Fell behind early. Toland a non-factor. Foul trouble early and I believe he did not score from field. Trail was on 11-0 run in 3rd w/ 9 straight by T. Starr and for some reason Trail calls timeout and kills their momentum. T. Starr 18 & L. Starr 15. Tough one next @ Fort. Not sure Trail is ready.

Just heard Caldwell beat Frontier 62-60. A lot closer than I expected after River beat Frontier last week.

Caldwell led 55-37 end of third, Wiechman in foul trouble fouls out an they had to hang on at end. Frontier has some shooters an they didn't quit apparently

I was at that game scouting Frontier and the way Caldwell got that 18 point lead was with Weichman on the bench and then he came back and the Caldwell boys just watched Weichman take over and he went cold from the floor. Frontier is going to surprise some teams. They are young and athletic. Weichman carried them in the 1st half but in the 2nd half he forced it way too much. The cougars had a good look at end to win the game.
