I think there's only one, maybe two posters from West during basketball season and none from Adena.

Adena won the previous matchup 69-59 on 2/7. That was also without JR Guard, Jonathan Thomas (who likely will cross the 1000 pt mark, only 3 away) and logically, that should make the Warriors even better.

I'll take Adena, 66-61 on the neutral floor. Good luck to Coach Smith and the Warriors!

We love to shoot the three ball. Hope we come ready to play. We shot it poorly and lost by 10 and that game also got a little chippy. Hoping we can come out to a good start and not have to fight being down 10-15 points the entire game. I'll take the homer pick.

West 65
Adena 58

Not off by much, 65-60 win for the Warriors.

This was a very exciting game tonight. First off I would like to congratulate the seniors from West, you had a heck of a season. From beginning to end the team grew as a whole and it turned out to be a very fun season to watch. Now to the game... West came ready to play tonight compared to the first Adena matchup. Mason Howell had a heck of a game and I think where west lost it was not utilizing him in the low post. Most of his points came off him fighting for the ball underneath off missed shots and putting them back up. Passing the ball was not a strong suit for west tonight, Adena did an excellent job spreading the court and creating lanes by passing the ball. A couple of players got into foul trouble (Hurd,Irwin) that hurt them in the 3rd quarter. Hurd is an excellent defender at the point and Irwin is a heck of a scorer. Having them on the bench for most of the 3rd quarter really hurt west. It was a really good game to watch and unfortunately West fell just a little short. Congratulations to the kid that hit 1k points tn, and hats off to all the west fans that stood up and recognized him when it happened and also after the game. Watching him give the ball to his parents after the game was cool. Good luck to Adena the rest of the year. Good luck to the West seniors as they move on.

Yes, but they will have to play very well. Rolfe is a monster for Valley.

They have a chance against valley, but as Dani said, they will have to play well. #23 for Adena imo is underutilized. As tall as he is he needs to play down in the post some more when they run their screen plays. I don't think i seen one play against west where 23 would do a pick and roll. He runs the perimeter a lot and takes a good bit of outside shots. He has a really good shot, im not saying he shouldn't shoot the long ball but he would be hard to stop down low. Valley is a great team, Adena will have to bring their A game.
