So what are their future plans? Will they try and apply to be a part of the KIAC for basketball?futurebkstar wrote:Washington state community college now has a winning record at 3–2. At this point we are trying to get a winning record then may apply for a league. We are weighing all our options then decided what's best for the kids.
Re: Washington state community college wins again.
How about a rundown of where these young men went to high school? TIA

Where do they play their home games?? Is there a gym on campus? Or do they use Marietta college's gym. Just wondering work in Marietta and have never heard of the community college having a team..

I would like to know who hosted these kids on their official visits?

Re: Washington state community college wins again.
Coach Derry, Brace, and Carroll took over a program that had never won a game in their 3 year existence. We inherited the team late so all the incoming basketball freshmen already had accepted other school offers. We had to round out kids that had a basketball background and give them a chance. Our oldest kid is Marcus Frazier, he is about to turn 26. We have several interests and we are recruiting a few kids to join the program this coming year. The recruiting stage was already over for incoming freshmen before we took over. We moved several games back in order to finalize rosters and to get the students enrolled. As far as our home games, right now we are using Parkersburg. They have an awesome facility and we are fortunate to be able to rent it. As far as official visits Chris, there was none. We are working on doing some soon. Also, Washington State CC and the YMCA are working on a deal to maybe build a brand new facility on campus. Things are looking up for this small school. Thanks for everyone's support.

Are you in need of a visit Chris? You thinking about coming out of retirement. We played Akron Wayne last night and they had a young man that was 33 years old.91blue14 wrote:I would like to know who hosted these kids on their official visits?

We are having a good time. We have everyone registered for classes now and we are headed in the right direction. Should be an exciting rest of the way. Your boy interested to play in a couple years. We can offer an education that would only cost a player 3,500 for the entire year. That's pretty reasonable nowadays economy.91blue14 wrote:im glad you guys are having fun

It's great to see some familiar names playing again, My oldest Son that plays for Rio now played against these boys in High School. And I also know Marcus pretty well, great ball players. As for the Coach Derry, He is a great Coach, he coached my youngest this year for the Ohio Valley Hidden Gems.4th n Goal wrote:I remember most of these names and I think this is the correct high schools for them??

Where do these kids live? Is there a dorm or some type of housing?
