The Dragons of Fairland travel to Ironton to take on the Fighting Tigers, thoughts?

Re: 1/23 - Fairland (10-3, 4-2) @ Ironton (6-7, 3-3)
This will be a good one in tiger town Friday night. It's that time of the year where ironton pulls everything together and starts playing good physical defense like all of coach Lafons teams do about this time of year. I believe their team is better than their record. On the other hand the young dragons with 3 solid seniors have been figuring out to win in tough games. Hope I can make it down to this one should be a great one!

This game will be a real test for both teams...
Whoever wins this game will gain some standing when it comes to seeding in the tournament
Conference-wise: If Ironton wins, then they are in the hunt for a possible share of the OVC Title. If Fairland wins, they are definitely in the hunt for the OVC Title outright.
Both teams play hard and have players who don't quit. I think the game will be decided by less than 4 points in the lasts 30 seconds.

At this point, it's all about tournament seeding. As much as I hate to say it, I don't think anyone is going to be taking the outright title away from Chesapeake this year.
Fairland has to win out and hope that Portsmouth sends Chesapeake home with a loss next Friday (1/30) in order for there to be any sort of sharing happening.
Ironton needs to not only win out, but hope everyone above them loses to even stay relevant in the OVC picture. You can't lose to Coal Grove and hope to have a share of the title. Ask Fairland.
As far as this game goes: Ironton plays well at home, but the Dragons are no slouches, and have a deep bench. Fairland wins in a thriller; 53-50.
