Congrats to Chesapeake. Over the past several years this is one the top programs in Southeastern Ohio. This doesn't happen by chance. It takes community support, kids committing the time/effort to get better, and strong coaching exploiting the strengths as personnel changes year to year. A pleasure to watch for a basketball fan. Good rep for the OVC.

Congrats to Portsmouth and Chesapeake on great regular seasons ,Portsmouth gets a share of the OVC championship in their first year in the league. I'm guessing this was just a couple of great games between these two schools in the future along with the other OVC schools

Congratulations to both Portsmouth and Chesapeake for their co-OVC championship. No doubt we'll see more battles for OVC supremacy between these schools in the future. For the Trojans, to finish tied for 2nd in the SEOAL and tied for 1st in the OVC is a very good year.

It looks like we will get to have an OVC Championship Game in the District Finals. Portsmouth & Chesapeake split in the regular season and share the conference title. Saturday should be a great game.

Also, the Ironton Fighting Tigers will be playing for a District title of their own. Wouldn't it be something if the OVC took both District Championships out of the Convo?

The OVC was and looks to be a very strong basketball league in the Southeast District.
