Junior High Previews

Coaches,

We are organizing a Junior High Preview for local Junior High Teams to be held at South Webster.

The date it will be held is on Saturday, December 6th beginning at 5:00 p.m. We will have (8) 7th Grade Teams and (8) 8th Grade Teams. We have two connecting gyms so the 7th graders will be playing their games in the Junior High Gym and the 8th graders will be playing their games in the High School Gym. Each game will be (2) 6 minute quarters, and the score and time will be kept just like regular season games.

Teams that have inquired so far are:

South Webster, Minford, Green, Eastern Pike, and Northwest.

*It will be first come first serve, so the first 8 teams in each grade level to express interest will be in.

The preview is not limited to only SOC teams, we will take teams from any conference.

Lastly, keep in mind that Junior High teams are limited to either 2 scrimmages, or 1 scrimmage AND a preview. We feel a preview is the best thing to prepare them for the season since it will be an officiated game with the time/score operating just like that of a regular game. This will help transition teams from 'scrimmage mode' into season mode.
