Battle for the 4 seed: River will get it with a win over Monroe Central, Bellaire can get it with a win over Shadyside and a River loss , Barnesville needs to beat Trail and have both River and Bellaire to lose. Magnolia will be the 3 seed and travel to 2. Monroe Central.

I don't think River is going to be Monroe Central. How good are Bellaire and Shadyside? Trail is beatable, so Barnesville has a good chance.

Barnesville couldn't have caught River even if they won. Bellaire beating Shadyside was the only way River gets bumped.

All that being said, River isn't playing good ball right now. IF River can get some shots to fall, they can be competitive. If they shoot the way they have been, this one will get ugly in a hurry.

The league played out pretty much how we predicted in the early going. Fort wins it, only getting good games from Caldwell and Monroe. Those two play for second place this Friday in Monroe. Caldwell won the first time almost blowing a huge lead. Should be a good ball game. Frontier has fallen off but they were easily 4th place. Shenandoah has improved and is probably better than Trail but Trails upset of Caldwell early gives them the edge for 5th. The top three have a chance to do something in the tournament, all are good basketball teams.

Why there not even in there half of the bracket,it all depends on which garaway team shows up on any given night they can play with any of these teams, I have seen them play they gave tcc and Hiland all they could handle before loseing both close games
