District Semifinal: South Gallia(7) vs Notre Dame(3) 3/04

The Titans travel back to the Convo for their third consecutive year and another chance to put themselves back into the District Finals for the second straight year. They take on a tough South Gallia team, not to mention SG upset ND at the convo 2 years ago in this exact game. Should be one heck of game between these two. If ND can play defense and find ways to score points I think they can pull it out. They will need to shoot FT's well and be consistent offensively. Against East they had to many veterans making mistakes with the ball. I'm sure Coach Mader will tune them up for next Tuesday! Thoughts/Predictions? GO TITANS!

I think it will be a close game. If SG limits turnovers and hits a descent percentage from the free throw line then they can win. Truth is I know very little about ND other than looking at their scores from the season.

It will be great to see The Rebels at The Convo! I'm certain that SG will have a great crowd there tonight watching. If SG plays aggressively and at the same time limit turnovers we can win. I'm guessing Rebels by 8.

ND's defense will create problems for SG's offense like his has for most opponents this season. If Notre Dame can shoot free throws and create some turn overs I'll take ND by 6.

I know a lot about both schools. I think if SG limits turnovers and rebounds they will be fine. Notre Dame struggles scoring unless they score off their defense. I'm rooting for my BROTHER COACH HOWELL........so I'm taking
