I think that Valley will cruise through this one, but which of the four DIII teams that play on Saturday would be most affected by playing back to back days? This is the first time I can remember having the district semis on Saturday and then the finals on Sunday. I know it is equal time off for the teams that win Saturday, but it still involves travel, planning and not much rest.

saw both of these teams play at chesapeake agree with you here on this: coal grove wins. they have four or five really good basketball players and other players who contribute and help them win games

Enjoyed watching my Pirates represent the SOC over the OVC last night, and I expect nothing less today. I watched Grove at Beasts of SE earlier this year, and they played well so I know they are a capable team. The problem is they are playing the best D3 school in the district. It would take a Valley collapse and the game of the Hornets' lives to win this one.
