I don't see how it could be anyone other than Hayden Dunn or Jared McCray.

Dunn won it last year and Valley went undefeated in the league this year, so I think he repeats as POY.

I look for McCray to get POY this year - he's put up some big numbers.

My take on First Team & Second Team SOC:

First Team:
Dunn - Valley
Flowers? West? - Valley
McCray - Minford
Rowe - Minford
Hafer - West
D. Miller - Burg
Cook - Webster
Scarberry - Northwest
Stiltner - Oak Hill
Knisley - Waverly

Second Team:
Flowers? West? - Valley
Rolfe - Valley
Stapleton - Minford
Gullion - Minford
Kelly - Minford
Davis - West
Spradlin - Burg
Heibel - Waverly

this goes to best player not best team so I think levi cook should be considered. he has put up big numbers against all the soc probably averaging around 28 or 30 pts. per game and maybe around 8 to 10 rebounds. he has carried his team all year. its easy to be a good player when your surrounding cast are experienced but he was only returning starter and has really stepped up. not putting the rest of Webster boys down that team has really improved but levi has had a hughe impact on where they are

I don't disagree that Cook is the most valuable player to his team, but the POY typically goes to the best player on the league champs. Is that always right, maybe not, but it is an easy decision for the coaches. Fenton could easily be argued to be coach of the year as well, but Rolfe will probably get COY.
