Waverly's Pierce Knisley with 42 points. 20 in the 1st period, 22 at the break. Sat most of the 3rd with 3 fouls and poured in his last 20 in the 4th period. Picking up the slack in the 3rd were Aaron Heibel and Daniel Heffner with a bucket each and Joe Henderson with 7 points including a 3 ball.

man that kid at waverly put up 42 against oakhill tonight he had 20 after the first quater

Did Knisley's 42 for Waverly tie a gym record? I know Bodager had a bundle, either 42 or 43 I think, one time when hit a ton of 3's. And Walls poured a bunch one time but don't know if he ever got more than 42.

G&B from huddle....I was in the house tonight at Waverly's Downtown Arena.

Knisley went off and the Oaks were 1-of-19 from 3-point range.

I thought Jake Kretzer had a game of 43 or 45 once before there, but I'm not sure.

Someone from Waverly would know probably.

Pt. Pleasant 80 Gallipolis 51

Standing room only crowd...Youth groups from both Pt. Pleasant and Gallipolis schools, plus a couple banks and others, raised over $10,000 for the Smith family whose home burned down last week. Two perished in the blaze. A n outstanding program by various officials followed the game .
