FCA is starting strong this year, but they haven't played an opponent the caliber of Warren yet. They have good coaching and Stephen Carpenter is one of the state's best for D4. Warren is supposed to be pretty big, right? I'll be interested to see how the Knights adjust to multiple big guys, they played Berne Union who had a 6'10 kid who has a few d1 looks and did fine. DeWese and Spurgus for the Knights are pretty physical boys. Looking for a great game here.

Warren has 3 really good scorers all 6-4 or taller.

FC Fan, will a radio station be broadcasting the game that can be streamed online?
Re: Warren (2-1) @ Fairfield Christian (4-0) 12/17
Yes, there should be. http://www.wloh.net/ (the TuneIn radio app for smart phones work). That would be the place to look if they are streaming. I hope this helps!WHS95FAN wrote:FC Fan, will a radio station be broadcasting the game that can be streamed online?

Caveat: I don't know if it's going to be broadcasted by any radio station. If it turns it won't be, if you use Twitter, #eghss could find you the person from the local paper (Lancaster Eagle-Gazette) who will be covering the game with live updates. I hope this can be of service, have a safe drive out here Warren fans! It's going to be snowing I hear, so be sure to leave early and drive cautiously. We enjoyed having you here in Lancaster for when your girls' soccer team played here in the beginning of the season. Enjoy the game!

Warren may squeak this game out. Why would Maddox schedule a non-conf away game against a team he might blow out?
Better look at FC a little closer.

I made my prediction based on Fairfield Christian only beating Coshocton by 10. I was wrong .

Warren toughed out a 70-65 win at FCA. The Warriors had a balanced scoring attack led by Michael Hall with 17 points. Evan French and Reece Patton both hit for 15 points. Andrew (Deizel) Drayer added 13 points. The Warrios play Lucasville Valley Saturday at Marietta College.

Two team that went to the BIG SHOW last year played like they were in the state finals tonight. Great ball game!!!
The differance was the balance Warren had. Not just player scoring but rebounding and quarter scoring. 16 in the 1st, 16 in the 2nd, 16 in the 3rd and 22 in the 4th. Rebounding Patton 8, Hall 8, French 6, Drayer 4. Player scoring Hall 17, Patton and French 15, and Drayer 13. Now thats balance.
Here is the other factor why the Warriors won this game, POINTS IN THE PAINT. 26 0f the 38 points scored in the 2nd half were in the paint. Warren only shot 3-3s in the 2nd half making 2. I was liking what I saw, LOVE THE PAINT.
Fairfield Christian, what a nice team. They have a real shot at going to the State again. The Carpenter boy is the real deal. One of their fans told me before the game he was avg. 30. Well he go 39 tonight, great player that can get off the floor with outstanding range.
Stats:
Warren
28-51 field goals 54%
4-10 3s 40%
8-10 foul shots 80%
11 offensive rebounds
28 defensive rebounds
15 turnovers
Fairfield Christian
22-53 field goals 41.5%
9-16 3s 56%
7-13 foul shots 53%
7 offensive rebounds
21 defensive rebounds
12 turnovers

Re: Warren (2-1) @ Fairfield Christian (4-0) 12/17
Scoring in the paint is what I like to hear. With the size we have it refreshing to see. I know Maddox usually has a more guard/outside type offense and I am real happy to see so much more scoring in the paint. Now teams will have to stretch there defense to try and cover both. Way to go big blue.

What time does Warren play Valley Saturday? Thanks
Re: Warren (2-1) @ Fairfield Christian (4-0) 12/17
The last I saw was the Warren boys play at 7:30 Sat. game 5 of the day. Will check and post later if this is not right.
