Portsmouth @ Warren 12/10
The Warriors host the Trojans for a early season SEAOL matchup. What's your thoughts?
Re: Portsmouth @ Warren 12/10
I'm taking the Warriors in this by around 10, the Trojans are always a tough out. I was wondering this earlier Warrior and can't remember but when was the last time we lost at home?

Don't think anyone will come close to the Warriors in SEOAL play this winter.

At least 2011 but can say for sure. That's 22 games just counting 2012-2013 and the one this season. I'd love to know!WHS95FAN wrote:I'm taking the Warriors in this by around 10, the Trojans are always a tough out. Portsmouth won at Warren in the 2010-2011 season, with the Warriors winning at PHS. The teams split in 2011-2012, with each team winning at home. WHS swept Portsmouth last season. Rebounding and FT's are the two main concerns I have for my Trojans. Whatever the outcome, I think the fans in attendance will be impressed with Portsmouth's ability to defend on-ball, which is the strength of our team. Our 3 guard backcourt of Kyre Allison, Sky Oliver, and Isaiah Lisath are as good as any in the SE District, if not the best.
I picked the Warriors to win the SEOAL in convincing fashion, and nothing right now changes my mind. Portsmouth and Logan are the only SEOAL teams that could possibly upset Warren.

Trojandave, looking forward to see you and others tue. night. My take on the game is; Your guards may be the best we see this season for sure, that has already been talked about up here. I look for coach to maybe change the lineup a little, still searching for the right fit IMO. The good thing is there are many ways he can go, BIG, FAST or a combination of both. One thing you can count on is that he will have them prepared and ready to play. The rebounding and defense looked alot better the last game. Warriors win with a deep bench and physical play, but expect a great game as always.

Should be a great HS basketball game. Great atmosphere is what I love most about HS basketball. I'm sure Portsmouth is looking foreword to making an early season statement by coming into the Warrior Dome and knocking off the Warriors. Allision and Oliver are more than a handful. The Trojans coaching staff will have a great gameplan and their kids ready to play.
The good news for the Warrior faithful is that OUR kids can defend too. We have a GREAT coaching staff that's preparing our kids well. As stated above the skill set the Warren has gives great flexibility to what the coaching staff can do as far as gameplanning.
A nice loud crowd, a couple hot dog w/ sauce and I'll be ready to set back and take in all the action in the Warrior Dome!
