They return the entire roster from last year's SOC Co-Championship & District Semifinalist team, except one starter. They have size, athleticism, experience and depth. They are the general consensus pre-season SOC 2 favorites and a legit District Title contender.cg-ironton fan wrote:urban buck wrote:Valley should be able to win this game.

This was a game that lacked flow. Valley didn't have their 'A' game but they played well enough to win convincingly. The Indians got very good minutes out of the Miller twins off the bench. Jordan West had a nice game scoring the ball as did Chris Flowers. I thought Zach Shope had a very solid floor game getting to several loose balls and playing extremely solid defense.
Valley 69
West 18
Flowers 13
Rolfe 8
Dunn 8
Kyle Miller 8
Clark-Holbrook 6
Brown 4
Zach Shope 2
Caleb Miller 2
Ironton 39
Cox 12
Bowling 11
Young 6
Kratzenberg 5
Campbell 3
Garred 2

Oh and Valley came from about 8 down with around 3:00 left to win the JV game on a Drew Wolford tip in at the buzzer. I believe the final was 36-34.

HItops, you've got a heckuva young man! He's the kind of ball player that shows up to work every day! I'm happy that its paying off for him in the winter just like it did in the fall.HItops wrote:Thanks Crab's Brother..... Re: 12/3 Ironton @ Lucasville Valley
From what I seen, Ironton was lucky to have anybody more than parents in the stands. I was really surprised. A lot of fair weather fans out there.

I believe "ROY MUNSON" was being facetious.
