Sorry to hear Eli is out . H e's one of those players that gets little praise but one that will be mostly missed . Not flashy but does the small things that really helps his team .Never seems to question any calls and their best post player. Hope to see a speedy recovery

SE is a notoriously tough place to shoot, so I could see this game being tight. I just don't think the Panthers have enough, even with Griffiths out. Fun matchup between Ruby and Speakman though.

... I didn't see the inside play for VC last night vs Maysville that I saw in the opening game vs Bloom Carroll ... the BIGS for VC aren't making themselves scorers ... in the BC game the BIGS attacked the rim, looked to shoot & score last night nothing - 6 points between Damron & Hammon ... to be effective the BIGS need to look at the BC game video - make themselves available in the paint as scorers, force opponents to double down THEN kick it out - right now the bigs are looking to give it up not looking to attack the rim - get to the rim, get the FT line AND be defenders of the paint at the defensive end ... with both Yates's back on the floor AND Speakman AND ACTIVE BIGS in Damron/Hammon ... Vinton County should be a force to deal with STILL ... defensively giving up close to 70 ppg (playing a zone at that) isn't going to add up to W's vs good teams ... if I needed a coach to right the ship I would go with Coach Combs and his staff to get the pieces working together in McArthur sooner than later ...
