Southern has very little depth, I believe that is what cost them the game against Meigs. Fairly evenly matched but Meigs was able to keep fresh legs on the floor.

Southern actually had two starters with 3 fouls by halftime against Meigs. Officiating doesn't favor Southern at home anymore. Don't think it has for quite some time. Maybe back in the old gym.

I remember how embarrassing it was when the Tomatoes ran trips and we didn't know how to adjust, so it's good to get that monkey off Eastern's back. I was told he was really after that Meigs job. But that Bartrum was really wanting it too so not sure if he ended up there as an asst or what.
