Agreed, Weaver rebounds, defends,scores and does anything necessary to help the Eagles win. This is not a slight on Weaver as I am a huge fan,have been since his sophomore year. Cody is a big part of the Eagles success. Idk even know how many players each team gets but, Weaver is very deserving of first team as well. Honestly, Eastern whole starting lineup has a case for first or second team but,there are only so many spots.

Brewster western should be POY. IMO
I’ll bet he leads at least three stat categories . Can take over a game like no one else . If not him I’d him Leist over Miller. He’s made the big shots for his team when game on the line .

Agree with what you say about Cody Weaver. He does what we all like to refer to, as the "Dirty Work" for the Eagles.

Western's Lane Brewster has a strong case for POY regardless of the league standings. He's averaging almost 21ppg, 10 rebounds, 56% from 2pt range, 76% from the FT line, and 2.5 assists. Also leads team in steals and is second in blocks all from the point guard position. Will likely finish career as Western's 3rd all-time leading boys scorer and 5th overall leading scorer. Aside from his one time fouling out in his career and missing the 4th quarter last night due to injury, he has sat out less than 10 total minutes of game time in the past two seasons.
