If Sheridan comes out shooting as well as they did against Waverly, Jackson will be in a world of trouble. Sheridan has a size advantage and experience to go with it, going to say Sheridan takes this one by 12. Hope I'm wrong, like to see Jackson sneak this one out but it's going to be tough.
Re: 3/10 6PM Sheridan (19-5) v Jackson (17-7)
Jackson plays like they did against Warren allows them a great chance to win this. Remember Warren didn't have much height and Sheridan can.

Going with Sheridan in this one. I think they neutralize any physicality advantage Jackson has almost every other night. Just not sure Jackson can score enough to win. Will be interested to see what Sheridan does defensively.

Sheridan’s defensive plan will be interesting.
Jackson has a chance here and are playing with house money. They are dangerous.

Sheridan got to the paint literally anytime they wanted vs Waverly. Jackson plays a much more in your face defense. Sheridan will be hard to put away. Can Jackson score against their bigs? Should be interesting.

Jackson is a double digit underdog, but I don’t think they feel that way nor care anymore . If they play defense like they have been , they’ll have a chance to stay in the game . Last 4 games they’ve been on another level.
After all , “ nothing worse than a Jackson win”

Jackson has been waiting for this all year. now they have their chance, they won't go down without a fight. I think they match up fine. Davis can guard Sheridans big and you could rotate Cooper and Yates on Heller. it'll be a close game I think.
Re: 3/10 6PM Sheridan (19-5) v Jackson (17-7)
Sheridan wins a close one. I think their size advantage will put them into the regionals.
Re: 3/10 6PM Sheridan (19-5) v Jackson (17-7)
This should be a good one. Never go into a game figuring to out physical Sheridan.
Re: 3/10 6PM Sheridan (19-5) v Jackson (17-7)
Jackson will be very physical with Hump and Yates and others are more swarming and glued.
Any thoughts on Sheridan sticking with the long 3/2 zone. I always liked that particular zone though it did look like a 1-2-2 as well. Regardless do they typically man?

Don’t count Jackson out! Sheridan will be a tall task to handle BUT the ironmen at their best could beat just about anyone IMO. Wallis and Donaldson have been playing next level good and I think the ironmen can pull off the win.

This post says it best. Ironmen at their best can beat anyone and now they all know this. They don’t care how good Sheridan plays. It’s just like at Burg we are gonna drag them out in deep water and have our way with the generals. 8 full days to get the rust off Davis his shots are gonna start falling. He’s ready to break out he will go for 20 if dons and Wallis are doubled. Id like to see him tomahawk dunk it hard at the convo don’t be surprised!

Sheridan will have the best team and best player on the floor. That doesn’t mean they’ll win at this time of the year but I’m going to take the Generals 56-48.

Who is best player? You guys played them good twice philo fine fella. What was your record this season. Have you seen the Ironmen play or their players. If you are forming an opinion from the Waverly game I could see your thoughts. Give us a Sheridan game plan how did you guys play them so good.Philos_Finest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 7:01 pm Sheridan will have the best team and best player on the floor. Your saying they can be beat how do you come up with an eight point spread. That 56-48 is the same score as philo last game with Sheridan. I doubt the electrics went .500 this season. You know Pete woods tell him odd-lots said hello.

Re: 3/10 6PM Sheridan (19-5) v Jackson (17-7)
Will be a fun game to watch, Jackson will not back down. I think Wallis can cause some problems for Sheridan's guards, but Heller is tough and is going to get 20+ regardless of who's on him.
To me, this comes down to Jackson's ability to rebound with Sheridan. If they can keep Sheridan off the offensive glass and not allow easy buckets, they can win. But Sheridan is huge and their zone can potentially cause some problems for Jackson. I'll go with:
Sheridan 61
Jackson 52
Really hoping the Ironmen win, though. Would love to see them in the Regional!

Jackson's ability to defend is why they are where they are. If they can keep this game in the 40's they will have a shot. I don't know that their offense is good enough for a game in the 60s
