Swanker, that's a good one, I don't care what anyone says.
Sorry Raider6309, you deserve the credit, wasn't paying close enough attention.

Desales beat both of those but only by 10, didn’t drill them, as well as beating Tri Valley by 13. TValley is OK this year. Just sayin. The central coming to the convo is tough and the 1 seed will be the team that heads that way, South is D1, the central is beatable this year by the teams we are talking about. Jackson included.
FU is very good. Me being upset with these rankings because Sheridan beat us at the Convo last year....C’mon?

SE D2 has some very good teams, glad most got mentioned but for any of them to get a #1 vote in the state is silly. I really don’t care much. Games on the court decide it all.

Lol. Everyone knows the first AP polls released are a joke. Even if Unioto was higher, based off the other rankings put out its still a mess

If I recall the first rankings most of the Media guys do not vote. Looks to me like the SEO Media people did vote. Peake and Fairland??

I’ll be totally honest with you.... Chillicothe is very good and hands down the best team in all of SEO.... but they are not the 7th best D1 team in Ohio. The real debate would be if they’re even the 7th best D1 school in the Columbus districts... my vote is no. Those D1’s are just simply on a different level.

Burg is having a great season but I’m sure even their coaches would tell you they’re not the best team in D3 in Ohio. If they weren’t #1 with Holden, they aren’t #1 without him. Of all the D3 teams around here I’ve seen this year I would take Peake and Fairland over Burg.... not hating, as Burg would be right there in either game.. but I’d give a slight edge to Peake and Fairland.

I have not seen them this year, but Eastern Brown has a legitimate case as the best D3 team in SEO with their lopsided wins against many very good opponents.

With that said, the D3 district games at the Convo this year are going to be spectacular. Soooo many great teams.
I would say Burg is a better team this year than the last few years … Team that is they have a complete Team

I think they are more balanced but I don't think they're better than last year. Holden is showing just how special he is by already being one of the best players on a very solid mid major D1 team.

In terms of Zane Trace, this is one of those odd years where dropping to D3 actually may hurt them. Eastern Brown, Chesapeake, Fairland, Wheelersburg, Oak Hill, Alexander, Ironton, Adena, and North Adams are 9 other teams that I could legitimately see winning a district title.

Lancaster Fairfield Union and Albany Alexander gives others throughout the state some idea of where these schools are located.

I know a handful of kids, athletes and not athletes, who attended FU and lived two minutes from Lancaster HS and others who lived west of SR 37 in recent years. Not a big deal.
