Eastern Brown is playing lights out
.Peake looks shellshocked. Their crowd looks stunned. I am stunned. EB's bench is making huge contributions. 1:45 left.

Eastern’s rebounding and defense were excellent. It was a complete beat down.

Wasn’t shocked by any means. EB shot fantastic and was exciting to watch. We refused to rebound and adjust to great deep shooting by getting out of the zone (would love to know the 3 point percentage).

Peake24 I can tell Peake is a really good team..in fact EB and Peake have similar styles. One could just see they had an off night. There seem to be many parallels to EB having a clunker against Alexander last week. A Friday night game and a nearly 3 hour bus ride for an afternoon game has to mess with a team's routine and plus a fatigue factor. The folks from North Adam's said it wasnt like the team that beat then by over 20 last week. The Panthers are a very talented team. My cheerleader daughter did want to know why Peake and Southpoint didnt have cheerleaders..lol.

Well... from what I hear our cheerleading coach didn’t want to make the trip. And you are right, very similar styles and we seemed unprepared. Wasn’t seeing much if any adjustments and shots would not fall (2ft or 18ft). EB shooting was definitely impressive though.

The Peake got beat, what can I say. They played better all around and we just seemed a half step slower than normal. Since Jan 3 we have played 8 games in 15 days.
Eastern was the better team and are well coached.
Just learn and go to the next game and put it behind.

Peake24 The 3-Pt. % I heard was 29% for Eastern and 33% for Peake. Overall, I think they said Eastern shot 50% from the field and Peake shot 35%. From FT line Peake shot 40% and Eastern shot 85%.

No surprise at all to me, maybe the 30 pt margin a little, but it does happen at times. I know and saw myself what happened last weekend against Alexander. I still think that Eastern Brown is one of the most talented Div-3 teams in this area, and I also think they will be a tough out when the tournament gets underway.
