Re: East District Records as of January 26
Tusky Valley has a big game at home this Friday against Malvern,TV was upset big time against Tusky Catholic last week, with the loss puts TV two games behind Malvern for the IVC North division

Re: East District Records as of January 26
Yep same team that just lost Caldwell, but TCC probably played best game of the season to beat TV and it was in double overtime, they made something like 9 for 15 from the three point line,TV plays a nasty 1-2-2 zone all season and it gives teams fits, they have got two 6'5" studs on the back in of that zone, that are quick and long arms, so teams have to be able to hit there three's,on this team, because you sure don't get much underneath

Re: East District Records as of January 26
How good is Ridgewood? I know they have some great athletes. State Tournament in Baseball last spring and Regional Final in Football this last fall. Is there basketball team mainly those same kids? Smith's, Tingle, etc?
Re: East District Records as of January 26
Yes pretty much they same players, this is the senior class they have been waiting on,loaded with talent, they have some close calls this season in basketball, but have weather the storm so far, there are probably three teams that could beat them, they're at D1 Massillon Feb 8, then go to Hiland on Feb. 11 for the IVC North division title, if my Hawks beat them were co-champs,as long as neither one lose a league game before we meet,on the 11,then on 15 is the IVC showcase games where they could play Malvern, just beat Malvern at Ridgewood 59-56 last week, there deep on the bench, got good ht.,and three or four guys that can shoot the three ball real well

All those games after the draw all will only help them in the long run.

Re: East District Records as of January 26
The young Caldwell team is playing well. In the past 2 weeks they’ve lost tight games with Fort Frye and Shenandoah that they led the majority of the way and beat Beallsville, Barnesville and TCC. They play Fort, some Columbus Christian school, Monroe, Frontier, Waterford and two OVAC consolation games. They’ve already beat Monroe by 30 in the last month and blew a big lead to Frontier early in the season before they had everyone back. Looks like they’re moving in a positive direction at the right time.
Re: East District Records as of January 26
Caldwell is going to be a team, in next few seasons, that teams are going to have wreckren with, if they keep improving in all areas of the game, come tournament draw, you might want to avoid them
Re: East District Records as of January 26
How good is Morgan? They might play the toughest schedule for a D3 eastern district team.

Re: East District Records as of January 26
Morgan is a team that lives and dies by the three ball from what I’ve seen and heard. Like for instance I think in their loss to New Lex they were like 6-30 from the three point line or something like that, and then when they beat Fort Frye they were 12 of 20 from the three point line.
