In the first game at Waverly, the kid that gave Oak Hill the spark in that game was Landon Hines, he doesn't start but in that game he scored 19 pts. he has done that in 2 or 3 other games as well. Last night against the Burg, where 3 of OH's starters scored a combined 2 pts total, he came off the bench and had 8 pts. As far as the kid that has been hurt, his name is Eric Kallner. He had a hand injury ( broken bone or bones ) that happened in the 2nd game of the year against Wellston, and missed probably 10-11 games. Norm has been giving him a little more playing time the last 3 or 4 games. He played probably half the game against Pike Eastern last Friday and had 15 pts and 12 rebounds.toast wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 10:38 am Oak Hill had a kid (not sure of his name) that got hot in the second half at the game at Waverly. Really quick and high energy. Hit several threes. We'll have to find a way to contain him and Hammond.
I hear Oak Hill has a player back that did not play first time around because of an injury. Heard he had 18 points and 11 rebounds a couple games ago....Impressive. Waverly will have Stulley this go around and hopefully a healthy Robertson.
This should be a good one.

Oak Hill is going to win...... this game, not SOC. Burg has SOC in the bag, one tough game at Waverly and thats all.
Re: Waverly @ Oak Hill 1/31
Could be postponed at any time. Waverly is closed until Tuesday mainly due to both elementary buildings and Jr. High children being sick. I did hear a couple “varsity” players have become sick as well. Waverly has 7 varsity players and have rotated 6 the past two games. For 2 starters to be out is huge. May be a game decision on this one.......

Re: Waverly @ Oak Hill 1/31
My guess is that there’s about a 60/40 chance this gets played, with 60 being it gets canceled. Kinda leaning more towards a 70/30 honestly. I have heard anything more than anyone else, just what it’s feeling like.

These feelings of this stuff tends to get pushed by the loud people who are sometimes pretty important. I hope it gets played but seems unlikely.MasterOfNone wrote: Thu Jan 30, 2020 10:17 pm My guess is that there’s about a 60/40 chance this gets played, with 60 being it gets canceled. Good deal. Should be a fun weekend. I think you’ll enjoy southern Jackson county
Re: Waverly @ Oak Hill 1/31
Packed house for the jv game. I feel like Jackson not having a game today has something to do with that
Re: Waverly @ Oak Hill 1/31
16-16 after 1. Waverly’s size is big early, lots of points from Brown Smallwood and Futhey in the post
Re: Waverly @ Oak Hill 1/31
HALFTIME
Oak Hill 34
Waverly 27
Hammond took over
Oak Hill was up 8, Waverly cut it back down to 2 or 3.

Re: Waverly @ Oak Hill 1/31
Oak Hill up 34-27 at halftime. Great all round scoring for both teams. Watching Robertson off ball is great, runs around screens like Curry looking for a shot. One thing to watch is that Potter sat with 3 fouls in the late minutes of the 2nd quarter. He brings a lot of great things on defense for this team so his minutes will be huge in the second half.
Re: Waverly @ Oak Hill 1/31
Tied 40-40 after 3. The definition of a foul changed a couple times that quarter and it cause two very heated crowds, but oh well it happens
