Waverly was taxed.
Waverly missed uncontested shots.
Waverly wasn't fresh.
No. Waverly lost. Got beat fairly badly actually. Nothing to be ashamed of at all, Burg only got the Ironmen by 1 point, they are a good team. Surprised the refs haven't been thrown under the bus yet.
You are right one 1 thing Waverly lost plain and simple. Were they taxed absolutely, did they miss uncontested shots, yep and so did Jackson, was waverly fresh?? Nope not when you only play 6 guys and you play 3 tough teams in 1 week going OT to the one and dealing with OH at home night before the Jackson game. I don't believe any of the Waverly posters are ashamed at all they lost to a very good Jackson team who did lose to Burg. At the same time a fresh Waverly team went into Burg and walked all over them, so there's that. It's ok though sometimes people speak up when they don't know anything about it. In the end Jackson won and I don't think there's to many people who were taking Waverly after the week they had just had and Jackson taking the night off Friday night. I had Jackson by 8 myself going into this one.
Jackson beat Unioto on Friday night in a hard fought game, then lost to Wheelersburg Saturday afternoon, losing the lead late on tired legs . Not one excuse from Jackson. So there is that.
Ya won by 9 were off an entire week prior to that and played Burg at home losing by just 2, made it a lot nicer that way didn't it?? So there WAS that.

Great game for Jackson on tired legs. Def wore out second half. Never seen a kid play harder for his team than Caleb Wallis.
Just incase you forgot you posted that one. Now add a OT game to it and back to back road games both nights. Think everyone would've gotten to see a much more competitive game from start to finish but Jackson did a great job and just took it to waverly early and waverly dug to big of a hole to come out of. As some posters have said predicting the 2nd night of a back to back is tough
