I know each and every one of them personally. They were all from VC.

We couldn’t stop terry. If Alexander went inside more, this could’ve been even worse.
Give me about 10 guesses and I could probably name them all! lol

Paint Valley @ Peebles around 3-4 years ago. Peebles wonderful refs ejected around 1/3 of PV’s crowd. One of the most wild and absurd things I’ve ever seen

Never was ejected, but during a VC 8th grade football game (yes I’m still young enough to remember) we had a teammates parent draw a flag on us for unsportsmanlike conduct. Can’t remember if he was ejected, but even though he didn’t deserve it we let the teammate hear it. Also there was a family that went to VC basketball games in the late 2000s who always sat in the upper corner of the stands. I’m not sure if they were ever ejected but man they yell and scream the whole game and it was awesome. They player on the team they were related to graduated and they all stopped going, and now going to the games just doesn’t feel the same. I wish they’d come back and yell and scream a couple times a year just to refresh my memory haha. Dundas, you probably know who I’m talking about

I know what's wrong with it. It's a Ford. You know what they say Ford stands for, don't ya? It stands for 'Fix it again, Tony'.

I was at this game and I had forgotten about this happening. I truly could not believe what was happening. I remember a pretty full crowd being there that night and in this section of fans sat Fairfield's coach at the time, Everett Snyder and another person from Fairfield. They were just at the game scouting and the refs had to be told by somebody that they weren't with PV, so they got to stay and watch. After the whole section of people were thrown out, there sat those two all by themselves. They went from not barely having enough room to sit, to not having a person within 10 feet of them in any direction, lol.

Was that the game Kevin got on the microphone and told the gym to calm down or the game would be played with no fans. I thought Lynchburg Vs Zane Trace but could have been PV vs Peebles

Definitely a very spirited family! I don’t think they were ever ejected from a game although I’d imagine Seth came close a few times!

No, none of the refs got on the microphone at this game. I remember two of the refs and they were from the Peebles area at the time. If you are talking about Schrwatzel, I don't think he was the other ref. Either the year before or two years before, I remember that Lynchburg/ZT got pretty out of control. I wasn't there, but I remember that one of the better players for Lynchburg got thrown out and was suspended after that for at least two games. I'd say Schrwatzel could have likely been at the ZT game because both of the teams would have been pretty good at that time and it should have been a good game.

Nothing worse for a referee to have to put up with a loudmouth Women who usually knows nothing about the game. Most fan bases have 1 or more of these.... I love it when they get tossed...Then there's that loud mouth guy who's making an arse out of himself screaming at ref when his team is up 20 or down 20...makes no difference winning or lossing... Its in the genes!!! I guess....

My best ejection story is about a coach. He was coaching varsity girls and setting on the end of the bench during the JV game. Two young refs both struggling. He says something to one of the refs and the ref doesn’t realize he is the varsity coach. The ref gives him a T for talking on the bench and then when he tries to defend himself gets a second T and ejected. This is one game before tournaments start. You have to sit out two games when ejected as coach. He is going to have to miss his teams first tournament game. Luckily they needed to makeup a non league game and were not going to. That changed real quick. They scheduled the makeup game before the tournament game and he was able to sit out two games and coach in the tournament game!

No specific stories, but I coach a lot of travel biddie league ball. Last year, I saw 3 technicals and 1 ejection... all by the same 3rd grade coaching staff, in 3 different games. Mind you, they won every game they've ever played by 20+ points, but that obviously wasn't enough. Amazing team... intense coaches.

This year, I've seen 3 parent ejections in biddie ball... 4th and 5th grade games. 2 mamas and 1 papa. Absolutely unbelievable vocabulary. The guy that got tossed, was tossed by the best referee I have ever seen (no offense to any on here, I don't know anyone in the forum  )
The referee tried to ask the guy to chill out multiple times... basically begged him to chill out so he could stay and watch his kid play... guy wouldn't shut it.

Saw a 3rd grader 2-3 years ago beg his mom to stop yelling at the referees... kid was on the court begging his mom to stop in the stands. She got tossed, be crumbled to the floor, crying. Had to be carried off the court.

I ref rec league, and I will toss anyone that says my name...

There is a feller named Justin McBee that resides around the Stockdale/Minford area and is ruthless to referees. His tongue is as sharp as a an Italian Stiletto and rougher than a corn cob. He may have calmed down, but in his younger years, he was constantly being escorted out of the gym and got to know all of the deputies within Pike and Scioto county as result. To be honest, I think he actually became golfing partners with a couple of them.

Justin would start out slow and begin his verbal onslaught with subtle and quick remarks as the referees would run by. However, this was just his initial phase that would enable him to get his vocal chords warmed up and work himself into a lather. Then he would transition into this Tasmanian Devil and unleash forty kinds of hell upon the referees from baseline to baseline. His performances actually caused younger members of the viewing audience to need counseling and medication. His thunderous voice, blood red face and garden hose size veins sticking out of his forehead and neck apparently scarred them emotionally for years to follow.

His favorite targets were two gentlemen that worked together mostly and if my memory serves me correctly, he actual knew them both personally. The names were LeRoy and Jeremy or something close to it. They both had good reputations and experienced little verbal abuse or hostility except for the typical gasp and the good old "3 seconds" and "over the back ref" from most fan bases throughout several counties. I have sat and pondered many a night trying to understand why he would go after these two guys. I don't think Justin ever got to see a complete game and rumor has it he was only charged half price for his tickets since they knew he would not be around for all four quarters.

I actually felt bad for Jeremy and was trying to buy him a Coke after one game, but only had 23 cents in my pocket. I had given my Kardashian confused kids my wallet to go get something to eat and was a little embarrassed. Jeremy was a good sport about it and reluctantly accepted my combination of coins consisting of 1 dime, 2 nickels and 3 pennies. I honestly believe that he didn't want to hurt my feelings is why he even allowed me to contribute towards 1/4 of a Coke. That was just his good nature shining through and demonstrates the kind hearted human being that he actually is. He simply would tell me that Justin was like a Mad Dog and laugh it off. He was a great sport about it and I admired him for his patience and forgiveness.

That was a wild night at Peebles. The year before or after at PV got spirited also, with a couple of our fans being escorted out

Imagine how boring it would be to just sit in the bleachers and you only have a reaction when your team scores a basket, you only clap for the few seconds it takes to recognize the basket. I have kids that participate in sports and I sometimes like to talk to officials during the game. There are a few officials that can shake off a comment and they may actually agree with you that they missed the call, if not actually agreeing they a least make you believe they are. There are officials that actually enjoy making bad calls, they try to get you worked up so they can toss you. I guess the only way to stop it would be to send these officials through a real class and really start to examine their character before giving them any authority. I’m sick of hearing that officials don’t get paid to be heckled by fans. They knew what they signed up for.

That clown isn’t worth commenting on. We will all be sorry when there are no more officials because that is where it’s going in many areas.
