Others in the Southeast and East District ranked this week and their rankings.

#3 is Zanesville Rosecrans 17-1
#5 is Peebles 18-2
#8 is Berlin Hiland 15-4
#10 is Trimble 15-3
#11 is Malvern 14-2

Note: Berlin Hiland and Zanesville Rosecrans are set to play in the first round of the East District. One gets eliminated right away!
Second round.

Rosecrans faces #14 Beallsville while Berlin Hiland faces #16 Conotton Valley in the sectional semifinals.

Nonetheless it is a monumental matchup much earlier than anticipated.
Thanks for the correction!

The win at Minford was good for New Boston going into the tournament. The Tigers should benefit from playing a slower paced, very physical game where NB was milking the clock in the last 2 minutes to protect a slim lead. Also important for NB was to make some clutch FT's in those last 2 minutes. Kyle Sexton is an outstanding FT shooter. I've seen NB 3 times, including last night, and in every game he's money at the charity stripe.

Good tough physical game by both the Tigers and Falcons, NB seem to have too much depth that don’t skip a beat and that’s hard to beat. Good luck in the tourney
