Did West just come out to play or does it seem Valley is regressing?

Wondering if maybe kids are quarantined....be nice to know that stuff in each game

Not sure. Subs for both teams were in during the part I saw. Looked like most or all of Valley’s starters were sitting on the bench but not 100% on that. It would be nice to know before each game.

Everyone played, haven’t watched West play any other games but they ran a very high pressure trap based defense and forced as many turnovers as I think i’ve ever seen in a basketball game. Lot of it was unforced as well, but the pressure really kept Valley from getting any kind of rhythm after the first quarter. West also seemed to feed off that and everything started falling in the third.

I know it’s a game of matchups, but if they can play they way they did tonight consistently they will win a lot games this year. Not many easy games in SOC2 this year.

Valley doesn’t have a true point. When burg played them, they didn’t press much. Valley will struggle with pressure defenses but should get better by the end of the year

This makes sense because Norm has seen every trap and press ever made. If you don’t have a point guard then a press or a trap can be painful.

Leading burg after half and was in the game at halftime. 2nd half went south. At minford, the falcons came out with high pressure and hit a ton of shots and we never got back into it
