Like I’ve been saying —- SOC 2 is for real this year.

You’re taking the 5th or 6th best team in the SOC 2 that went on the road to beat the top team in the OVC.

Valley or Webster has a serious chance to win the D4 regional.

Waverly has a great chance to win the D2 district.

Minford is one of the better teams in D3 SEO.

Wheelersburg and West are two dangerous teams in D3. Possibly Northwest also.

If West plays like they did tonight they can beat anyone. It wasn’t a fluke. After trailing 7-0, West controlled the game.

I wouldn't get all excited about West beating Fairland.. This is not the Fairland team of the past 4 or 5 years...There's not one team this year in the Southeast that sticks out as unbeatable or a bigtime front runner..If Fairland plays Portsmouth West again may be different outcome. More parity this year than in past few years in my opinion. South point has beaten Fairland, Portsmouth, Gallia, Ironton, Spring Valley, and Huntington but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if any one of these teams or all would beat South point in next go around....I know they don't play latter 2 teams again..SP handily beat Greenup County 1st game then took their only lose of year in 2nd game after being up big...You can't compare scores and go by one game...West plays SP in Janurary sometime.... SP plays hard and are well Coached...Very good team...They could beat top teams in SOC or could get beaten...Not one team stands out as totally dominating this year....Basketball 30 is up for grabs!!!!!! Every game a dogfight in OVC.... I remember back 4 or 5 years ago the SOC homers talking about how powerful the SOC was and 3 of last 4 teams standing were OVC teams in div 3....

Not exited about west beating them at all just pointing out that Fairland is not the team they have been accustomed to for the last few years
