Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio- Week 5
Alexander is the TVC-Ohio leader, owns a half game lead over VC and Meigs, who they have beaten already. Both of them. But they are 41st in the Floyd rankings. That pretty much tells you how crazy the Ohio Division is this year. lol
Fed Hock (8-3),(5-0)
Waterford (8-3),(4-2)
The Lancers beat Waterford straight up and only lost to three bigger schools Morgan, Marietta and Fairland. That's it. Fed deserves to at least be 1 spot higher than the Wildcats. haha
What I like about Fed is what they did or are doing schedule wise.
They went out and scheduled up this year despite losing 4 starters to graduation.
They played D2 Morgan
Beat the 1st place team in the Ohio (Alexander) by 30 points.
Played D2 Marietta
Took on a much tougher opponent in D3 Fairland.
Drove all the way to to Peebles on a Tuesday night and beat the Indians.
They are playing D2 Athens tomorrow night.
They have Trimble twice.
Waterford twice.
They scheduled New Boston.
* I know Peebles and NB are not the same teams as previous years, but you don't know that when you schedule them.

Heard Fed Hock has a kid that transferred in from Zanesville 2 days ago, played in the game lastnight. Does anyone know the transfer rules? Is he eligible to be playing?

Not sure about that, but were about to call the Fed vs Athens game. He was from West Muskingum and last night was the 11th game of the season. You have to sit out 2nd half. So he is not in uniform tonight vs Athensmyqueenbee wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 5:34 pm Heard Fed Hock has a kid that transferred in from Zanesville 2 days ago, played in the game lastnight. The Winators are back and kicking!
In your opinion what has happened or clicked to get them back going this year?

Very up and down season but a healthy Jesse Dixon makes this team scary. They have the potential to be the best team in D3 around here (beat fairland) but they have had injuries and lost to a team like Oak Hill.

They are playing more man now than zone. Played up and down all year. Dixon missed all but a couple minutes in the losses at Eastern and Oak Hill. They don’t loose those games with him.Ironman92 wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 11:02 pmYeah, that’s a crazy rangeBasketballfan40 wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 10:57 pmVery up and down season but a healthy Jesse Dixon makes this team scary. Lost last second on a terrible no foul call to Symmes Valley a few hours after a big emotional victory against Wheelersburg. Probably shouldn’t have played Valley as the flu bug was running rampant. Had the lead the second half against Waverly.
When they’re right they can beat anyone. Have to find consistency.
