Yes and both are rolling along on their way to the Elite 8. Is there a thing such as being too good? Especially for the boys who have been beating the brakes off of everyone they play. At least the girls have had a few fairly close games, even on OT game against a very good NY team at their place, but the boys haven't. Will this hurt them once they get to the 8 or final 4 when they are sure to have a close game I would think? Or are they good enough to overcome that and roll to a state championship?

Very happy for them.

But rankings and $2.00 will get you a water at the concession stand. Ranking mean nothing in Ohio.

Yea back in the day we wasn't ranked that high but we was second in the state and almost won it all. So them ranking don't mean nothin. Plus the other night Racine took them Glouster boys to the wire and Racine aint too good so I can't see how they are really the 3rd best team in the state. Maybe if they was in West By Gawd.

Good luck to them and congrat. I remember a Peebles team a few years ago who had just over a .500 team record pulling some upsets and ending up in the Regionals. So I don't get too crazy about records . Some teams get better as the year goes by. They play tough schedules and some even get players back that have been sick or injured. Again good luck to your awesome team and your awesome coach. He's a great guy and a great coach. Hope they get to the state final game and win it all. Have fun.

Congrats to Trimble for the high rankings, great source of pride for the school. However, the TVC Hocking (boys) is atrocious when you consider prepping for tournament play. Trimble, at best is a regional qualifier. Lucasville Valley is the team to beat in SE District.

Gray Cat, anytime! The cream always rises to the top. Rankings mean nothing. Final Four banners and state championships do. You guys will and should run through the TVC. You’ll probably see your biggest test in Districts.

Nah, regional final will be the first "test."

Why would anyone be scared to play the Tomcats?

I'm glad to see ole Howdee doing well up there in Glouster. Is he coaching both the boys and girls teams? Wouldn't be surprised because it looks like they both have talent, and we all know how much the old boy loves to chase talent. If you don't know it just ask Fed Hocking.

Good thing Trimble has a plethora of talent then, so he could stop chasing. :D

The girls won't be ranked that high after Waterford put a beating on them. :o

Howie has been a Trimble for awhile now, so I do not see him chasing any talent anywhere else. He has all the talent he needs for the next several years. If you think we are afraid to play Fort Frye in Football your crazy we are not afraid to play anyone. HA HA.....
