Fairfield Union has some GREAT scrimmages set up :

THAT'S a good pre-season schedule for the Dragons ! vs Zane Trace will tell us if teams with size will give Fairland a difficult time as ZT is BIG and Strong across the board ... Trimble doesn't have size but Howie is the best at getting the most out of what he has on the court - a couple players for Trimble with varsity experience ... Minford is just all around a good TEAM - with Montgomery being THAT guy who can do it all for the Falcons - outstanding player but Minford has a bunch of great pieces ... not a regular season game BUT would be worth the trip to the river to see these 2 teams go at it ...

Serious question, are scrimmages usually open or closed to the public?

I can only speak as a Fairland fan but we’ve always been able to go in both at home and on the road. Only exception was 2020 COVID season.

Unsure of tip-off times for Fairland scrimmages but seeing as the teams they play are coming from a decent distance away, I’d assume most will be evening games
