Great job this week -- my only thought is Meigs is better or would beat maybe 15 or so teams ranked ahead of them. I can't prove it, but the last game I saw (this past week) I just think they're better than their record.
*MaxPreps has Miami Trace at 11-1. Not sure if they're correct or not, just FYI.

... you may be right about Meigs - especially if they are getting back any of the 3 players that were sidelined with injuries for extended time the first half of the season ...I saw them last on 12/17 at Alexander with 3 walking wounded... I had WHS at 11-1 entering this past week ... losing to St. Charles and winning vs Chilli by 17 ...Hookshot wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 5:38 pm Great job this week -- my only thought is Meigs is better or would beat maybe 15 or so teams ranked ahead of them. Hookshot, do you have the lineup from this past week? I can compare it with the end of 2022 lineup I saw to see who has returned for Meigs ...Hookshot wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 5:38 pm Great job this week -- my only thought is Meigs is better or would beat maybe 15 or so teams ranked ahead of them. ... when I saw them vs Fort Frye - Harrison, Cleland, Stanley were out of the lineup ... any of them back? when I texted you at the MHS vs FF game, I asked who I should keep an on - you mentioned Braylon Harrison - wonder if he is back?93Bulldog wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 6:13 pmBut then after Friday turned around and almost lost to (1-9) Eastern.Hookshot wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 5:38 pm Great job this week -- my only thought is Meigs is better or would beat maybe 15 or so teams ranked ahead of them. Good work Pfloyd
I think Valley gets back into that top 8
From the early 30’d to the early 50’s is almost a crapshoot

Pfloyd, good job as usual. I often wonder how many times you go up and down your list before you finally post it.

Yes, Harrison I know is back. Heard his name on the radio last night listening to post game on 92.1pfloyd wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 6:34 pm... when I saw them vs Fort Frye - Harrison, Cleland, Stanley were out of the lineup ... any of them back? when I texted you at the MHS vs FF game, I asked who I should keep an on - you mentioned Braylon Harrison - wonder if he is back?93Bulldog wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 6:13 pmBut then after Friday turned around and almost lost to (1-9) Eastern.Hookshot wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 5:38 pm Great job this week -- my only thought is Meigs is better or would beat maybe 15 or so teams ranked ahead of them. Thanks VetteMan, 2-3 times especially after I left off a team in the first ranking of the season LOL ... I usually take the Big Sheet for the week that I record all of the week's results - I will update the records first after the week that was played ... then start 1-8 on the legal pad, working my way down the 71 teams in groups of 5 at a time ... ( during the week when I record the scores of games I will put an arrow up or down based on the result of game played by each team or give them a level line -- ) ... after I have written the new rankings by hand I will type them up with records ... let them sit for awhile, comeback and take another look at what I came up with - sometimes I will adjust/other times if they look good I will do the "by division" rankings ... THEN I will hit the submit button LOL ...

It would be awesome if we could get strength of schedules and common opponents outside conference play for wins and loses. I know some of the SE Ohio border teams play WV AA and AAA programs. I know it’ll all be ironed out before sectional seeding.

7 SOC2 schools within the Top 30-35 teams. Incredible balance in that Conference. It’s going to be an interesting second half for the SOC2. To think also, Minford is going to have Montgomery for two more years and South Webster is going to have Roberts for two more years. Minford’s sophomore class is special for basketball.
Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio- Week #6
No surprise at all, I'm pretty sure it's probably more than a few hours. The great thing about it is, I'm pretty sure that there is nothing else that you would rather be doing.pfloyd wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 7:33 pmThanks VetteMan, 2-3 times especially after I left off a team in the first ranking of the season LOL ... Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio- Week #6
Looks good!
Keep eyes on Tuesday’s 12 Zane Trace vs 13 Paint Valley matchup. PV just barely escaped Adena on Friday and hasn’t played particularly well on the road. ZT did not look very good against Miami Trace last night, but will look to maintain their lead in the SVC
Zane Trace also travels to Unioto on Saturday. The first game wasn’t close, but Unioto is getting better each time out. Might not be ready to knock off the Pioneers, but it could be an interesting matchup if the Shermans play well.
