FortDawg is correct worst case they both get paid and Howie is still coaching. The few people in Glouster bitching about this need to realize you can't always hire the good ole boy and be successful.

You can say anything you want to say about Howie. But, he is an outstanding coach. Wherever he is, he makes the talent look a lot better. I have to get hold of a schedule, so I can go see them play early in the season.

Outcome on what? Howie is the coach. He seen talent at trimble and wants to win quickly. Which i believe he will do just that.

There will be some that don't like this hire. Some in the Trimble community that feel they should have hired from within. I feel it's better to hire outside mainly because these hires have no ties to board members, teachers no family in town, so no pressure to play kids with a certain name. Phil Faires would be an exception. As with all new hires either from within or outside there will be people unhappy but with Trimble being DIV and the talent they have coming back toss in Howie Caldwell and I think they will get to that next level and into the regionals.
