I wonder how far west they will bring teams from? Teams like Wilmington, Western Brown, Batavia, Goshen, etc.
Re: New OHSAA Division Breakdowns
They will combine with the East D3.

It's going to be very interesting as to how and where the tournaments will be set up. The logistics will be quite different than in the 4 division system.

Re: New OHSAA Division Breakdowns
seems unlikely that the Southeast District, who now is responsible for eight district tournaments across Divisions IV-VIIA instead of five across D2-D4, wouldn’t try to get that ninth district tournament in D3 (in its current form) off their books over time.
Its hard to imagine Chillicothe and Miami Trace looking at the prospect of playing a first round game on the road at Dover/New Philadelphia (if the East merged into the SE district for D3) with a high level of desire, and vice versa. Wouldn’t be surprised if D3 schools in close proximity to other athletic districts, like Chilli, MT in the Southeast, and Dover/NP in the East, after a year or two say “yeah we ain’t doing this lol” and just petition to leave their respective districts in favor of ones that can support district tournaments with smaller geographic footprints. Because there isn’t a point in their money (gate revenue their fans bring for road games, the money disbursement responsibilities for home postseason games) being tied to a District Athletic Board that can’t promise them that their postseason travel won’t completely swell to a balloon annually.

Re: New OHSAA Division Breakdowns
Looks like the Marietta Times has an article out about teams around here but just by looking at it they have Warren listed in the wrong division so there may be other mistakes.

I'm not sure of the logistics of how all of this will work, but it will be interesting! South Webster appears to be a huge winner here!
