Easily Waverly's Downtown Gym - CD Hawhee Court!
I'd put it up against any SEO HS Gym

Waverly’s Downtown Arena has to be my personal favorite, and even the Waverly high school gym is huge! Didn’t really know anything about it until girls tournament games this year it has to seat near the 3 thousands you’d think, a new floor in there and Waverly would have 2 absolute beauties!!

The Chef says "The Oven" at Piketon.
Here's what is on the menu:
Super-maintained, shiny and bright with BY FAR the best lighting of any gym in Ohio ("TV Lighting"), parking all the way around the gymnasium with easy front door drop off for those needing assistance upon entry, massive dining area with projection TV airing the game so no action is missed. Piketon is the "CrossRoads" of southern Ohio at the intersection of US 23 & 32. Piketon's Finest (Police Dept) always serving and protecting.
Lastly, The Chef serving up the "home-cooking" for "Here Comes the Streaks!"

Waverly has to be the top with the downtown arena.
Especially during all the years of the Holiday Classic being the Pike County Tournament it is the most exciting HS game atmosphere you could find anywhere.

I absolutely agree with Waverly being the best and it just has the atmosphere that one loves.

I really like Ironton and Southeastern’s and almost the entire SOC3

For a small gym, I like Fairfield. Most of the SHAC have similar gyms, but I like them for the most part. Love Lynchburg’s floor.

Waverly does indeed have a great gym, as does Ironton. Jackson is nice too. In the OVC, my favorite is Rock Hill.

Got to give props to Trojan Arena.......those 4 state championship banners and the Final 4 banners with all the years listed is unmatched in the SE district. 94 foot college length floor, not a lot of gyms have that.

Just got word that Waverlys High School gym ( not the downtown ) is getting a new floor, if that’s true than waverly would have the top 2 gyms in the area and I’m not even sure if you can debate it!!! Love all the gyms named in here!!

Miami Trace’s gym is excellent. Waverly’s downtown gym is the best, IMO. Logan’s is really nice, too. I have always loved South Webster’s gym and decorations hanging on the gym walls. Warren’s new gym is great, too!

... good point Jumper45 - I like the Ironton HS gym too, Warren's is nice as well - the jumbotron in the concession area makes it really nice as well but I think the visitor side seating is too small ... Wellston's gym is good ...

New gym is nice, but for atmosphere the old gym was better. You were definitely packed in tight with the court being smaller than regulation size. Plus, the lighting always appeared dim to me lol.
