Jackson 40
Logan Elm 38

OT

LE held the lead most of the game but Jackson defense and physicality helped get them eventually over the hump. Jackson’s defense forced LE to 3 timeouts in the final 21 seconds in OT…then forced a bad shot

Big win

GA played with them most of the first half. But Meigs is very solid at every position.

Yeah I actually feel the Blue Devils played pretty well. Youth caught up them just a bit and Meigs’ bigs were just too much. Gallia had no match for them. Overall, not a bad effort for Gallia. I do hope their jump shooting improves or it could be a long season. I feel like some of these guys will find their stroke though.

Stadelman and Lupardus combined for 60 or more of the 72, can't remember the exact scoring total.

They scored 48 pts. Cavs up 5 with 2:30 left in 4th quarter and struggled from foul line. Tough loss for Cavs!

My mistake, that's what I get for trying to remember the scoring breakdown . It felt like the Cavs had control of the game most of the second half until the end.

... I watched the video replay last night on hudl, Caydon Cox is an outstanding sophomore for the Cavs - had an excellent night, quick off the dribble, long strides & length, 6-3 size and a lefty ... excellent night vs Warren last night ... I didn't do the napkin stats on the game but he was in the 20+ range (but then again it was 1am when I was watching the game LOL ...

I believe Cox had 28. Made some difficult shots in lane in traffic. Hard to tell why the game was so close -- Warriors have some work to do.

... Chillicothe has a lot of good pieces - Cox being one of the best ... I watched Chilli vs New Lex in person ... Coach Beard has the Cavs getting better each time they get on the floor , we talked before the game at New Lex ... Coach Beard is working on teaching the players how to play the game of basketball - athletes he has, learning the game, learning the nuances of the positions , learning to play the game in all of the situations basketball presents...learning to win (last night will give Coach Beard teaching moments on tape to refer to ... show them where what they've been working on in practices should have been taken to close game situations) ... Chilli is not a team you want to playing in late January or February in SEOhio imo ... Chillicothe came to play ... Cox for Chilli was/is as good as anyone on the floor ... Warren doesn't have anyone Cox size/length or quickness ... the game was close the entire game ... good basketball on both sides ... back and forth for 4 quarters ... good win in OT for Warren vs a good Chillicothe team that will just get better and better ...
